What is Parrot Shine?
Parrot Shine is a micro-thin layer of protection that is easily applied, and protects your boat from harmful UV, corrosive salt water, and harsh environmental conditions--plus it inhibits the growth of mold and mildew!  All you have to do is: “Spray, Rinse, Protected”!

What surfaces can I spray Parrot Shine on?
Gel-Coat, Fiberglass, Non-Skid, Paint, Clear-Coat, Vinyl, Upholstery, Canvas, Plastic, Polished Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Glass, and Isinglass!  Not recommended for use on touch-screen electronics or in live-wells.
Do I still have to wax my boat?
Yes, but not as often!  Parrot Shine is designed to protect your boat and will keep it protected and shined, in between waxings.  The best part is, you can eliminate the mid-summer waxings!
How long will Parrot Shine last?
One application will last about 30 days.  The more you use Parrot Shine, the more it builds up, making it that much easier to clean the next time!
Can I use Parrot Shine on my vehicles?
Yes!  We designed Parrot Shine as a boat protectant, but discovered that it works great on all vehicles including, motorcycles and RVs!
Are there any other uses for Parrot Shine?
Yes!  Parrot Shine can be used successfully around the house, including spraying on glass and tile shower enclosures to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and limit water spots; granite and stone counter tops spray and wipe off for a nice shine; and outdoor tile to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew growth!
Do I have to use exact measurements when mixing Parrot Shine with water?
The ideal ratio is 32:1, but Parrot Shine will also work at ratios ranging from 25-50:1; so an exact ratio is not required.

What type of sprayer do you recommend?
Depending on your needs, any of the sprayers shown below can be used and can be found at any local hardware store.  For around the house, we use the 32 oz. trigger sprayer.  On our cars, the small pump sprayer works for us.  For large boats and RVs we recommend using a large pump sprayer or garden sprayer.
